This double degree combines the analytical and critical thinking skills of a Bachelor of Arts with the practical communication and media skills of a Bachelor of Media Communication, preparing you for a career in media, communications and beyond.
Applicants must satisfy the VCE subject prerequisites or equivalent, including a minimum English requirement. There are multiple pathways to this course, including recent secondary education, VET study, higher education study, and work/life experience.
The Bachelor of Arts offers over 30 areas of study to choose from, including history, psychology, sociology, languages, politics and international relations. The Bachelor of Media Communication allows you to specialize in one of four streams: Journalism, Media, Public Relations or Screen. Your core units will provide practical experience in the Monash Media Lab.
