The diploma comprises 27 units: 24 core units and 3 elective units. Core subjects include: Manage Business Risk, Lead WHS Risk Management, Apply Building Codes and Standards (Class 1, 10, and Type B/C buildings), Select and Administer Construction Contracts, Identify and Produce Estimated Costs, Produce Labour and Material Schedules, Supervise Site Communication, Apply Legal Requirements, Apply Structural Principles, Read and Interpret Plans and Specifications, Prepare Tender Documentation, Prepare Building Sketches and Drawings, Apply Site Surveys and Set-out Procedures, Monitor Costing Systems, Supervise Planning of Onsite Work, Select and Manage Contractors, Administer Legal Obligations, Manage Construction Work, Manage Environmental Practices, Manage Professional Technical and Legal Reports, and Manage Building and Construction Business Finances. Elective units include Project Quality Management and Project Stakeholder Engagement.
