There are no essential entry requirements for this course. Although not required, it is recommended that you have access to a computer with a reliable internet connection. Upon enrolment, TasTAFE supplies students with a Microsoft Office license including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Defender. TasTAFE has computers available for student use during normal business hours at all major campuses.
The course covers digital media fundamentals and design principles including file naming and saving conventions. Students learn about creative briefs and project initiation processes. Practical skills include using software to create short videos and utilizing content management systems to develop web content such as headings, images, and blog pages. Core units include CUADIG211 (Maintain Interactive Content) and ICTICT215 (Operate Digital Media Technology Packages).
