This Graduate Diploma equips experienced leaders and managers with advanced management theory and practice grounded in Christian values. Designed for professionals seeking to enhance their leadership capabilities in faith-based and organizational settings, it combines rigorous academic study with practical application.
Applicants must hold an Australian Bachelor's degree or higher (or equivalent overseas qualification). Additionally, applicants must have at least two years' experience in a leadership or management role and provide a resume/CV outlining relevant experience. International applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency (IELTS 6.5 overall with no sub-band less than 6.0, or equivalent). In exceptional circumstances, equivalent qualifications may be considered by the Course Convenor.
The Graduate Diploma consists of 8 units totaling 48 credit points. Core units include The Theology, Theory & Practice of Leadership and Introduction to Research. Discipline-specific units cover Leadership & Organisation, Communication for Leaders, Human Resource Management, Organisational Processes & Change, Marketing Management, Strategic Planning for Leadership, Managerial & Professional Ethics, Accounting for Leaders, and Legal & Governance Issues for Managers. Students complete an independent project (6 or 12 credit points) as the capstone component. Year-long units include a compulsory on-campus intensive study component.
