The course comprises four units: one core unit (Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence) covering automated search methods, knowledge representation, reasoning, and planning; plus three specialist units chosen from Machine Learning (statistical learning models and algorithms), Discrete Optimisation (modelling and solving optimization problems), Natural Language Processing (language analysis and applications), or Intelligent Image and Video Analysis (computer vision concepts and implementation).
