Entry Level 1: Australian bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant STEM discipline with a credit average of 60%, approved by faculty. Relevant disciplines include any STEM degree or degrees with mathematics, business analytics, scientific or critical thinking, or problem-solving components. Entry Level 2: Monash University Graduate Certificate of Computer Science with a credit average of 60% or equivalent. Entry Level 3: Monash University Graduate Diploma of Computer Science with a credit average of 60% or equivalent. English language proficiency is required.
Part A (Core Units): Introduction to Databases, Architecture and Networks, Foundations of Computing, and either Java Programming or Introduction to Python. Part B (Specialist Units): Choose one specialisation with three units from: Artificial Intelligence (Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Intelligent Image and Video Analysis, Discrete Optimisation), Cybersecurity (Software Security, Network Security, Cyber Operations, Cloud Computing and Security), or Software Engineering (Web Applications Development, Mobile and Distributed Computing Systems, User Interface Design and Usability, Software Testing Quality and Standards). Part C (Applied Practice): Applied Practice 1 and Applied Practice 2, culminating in a professional capstone project.
