CAD Designer

About the Role
This role will see you working closely with the Design, Sales and Engineering teams on new, existing, and custom product development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Generating 2D and 3D rendered visuals. Product research and data management.
- Product testing to ensure functionality and durability of designs.
- Providing design input for orders, liaising with sales, procurement and manufacturing.
- Collaborating with a team of manufacturing professionals to evaluate and re-design projects and prototypes.
- Support the sales, marketing and production departments with design work for RFI’s and RFP’s.
- Maintain organised files and documentation of the design process for reference.
You will have:
- Degree or qualification in Product Design, Graphic Design, Engineering or a related field – not essential but highly valued.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years.
- Proficient in SolidWorks / CAD and a strong understanding of design principles.
- A meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and collaborate seamlessly.
- Experience working to deadlines and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
