Task & Responsibilities
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Plan and organize events, including conferences, seminars, weddings, and corporate functions
- Develop event concepts and themes based on client requirements
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
- Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions
- Arrange logistics, such as venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodation
- Coordinate event setup, including decorations, audiovisual equipment, and seating arrangements
- Oversee event operations and ensure smooth execution
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events
- Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback for future improvements
Qualification & Experience
s & Experience
- Proven experience as an Event Organiser or similar role
- Strong knowledge of event planning and management principles
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Proficient in event management software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience working in the events industry in Australia is an advantage
