Service Technicians

09th May, 2023 General Role Description   We’re seeking skilled and experienced Service Technicians to join the FILTEC team.

Our Service Technicians are responsible for the operation and maintenance of water treatment systems, ensuring that safe and clean water is delivered to our customers. These are full-time positions that require a keen attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously. As a Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of the water supply for our community.

Our ideal candidates will be a team players, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. We are looking for people who are motivated and eager to learn, with a commitment to water quality and customer service. You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of water treatment equipment, as well as monitoring and adjusting water treatment processes to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.

  Key Responsibilities Servicing of equipment used in water treatment processes Lead generation and customer service Commissioning support Team support Required Experience: 1-5 years of experience in water treatment operation and maintenance, or similar Trade based qualification, preferred but not essential Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems Understanding of water treatment processes and regulations Experience with chemical feed systems, pumps, and valves, preferred but not essential Understanding of safety regulations and procedures Microsoft Office Suite Proficient in using common water treatment software and equipment, preferred but not essential   Soft Skills: Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work on your own unsupervised Ability to…
